Maple Systems has specialized in industrial operator interface products for over 28 years. Their original products were the keypad and numeric display operator terminals; they added touch terminals in 2000 and touch computers in 2006. Now they have added Touch Screen Controllers, touch screens with integrated PLC's.

HMC = HMI + PLC

Maple Systems human machine controllers come in three sizes with 3", 3.5" and 5.7" screens. The two larger ones have 32K color touch screens and 6 programmable function keys. The smaller size units have tri-color graphic displays the 6 programmable function keys and a numeric entry pad. I/O cards plug into the back of the HMC; six different cards allow you to tailor the controller to meet your needs. They also have serial ports to communicate with other controllers. All are rated Class 1 Div 2

Tri-color display? It's a mono LCD with red, green & blue backlights. Turn on 1, 2 or all 3 for 7 different colors. Program can change colors at any time by setting the bits, for instance, red for alarm, lavender or yellow for setup screens, green when running.
