Prime Controls Co. was established in 1977 as a subsidiary of an Illinois company when one of their manufacturers, Eagle Signal, needed a new representative/distributor in Southern California. We quickly became one of their largest rep/distributors, number one in some years.
Prime Controls Co was founded by engineers who believe in the engineering support approach to engineering sales. From the beginning we have established ourselves as technically strong individuals who understand when you explain what you're trying to accomplish and can figure out a good way to do it.
We have a a strong "stable" of manufacturers, so we often have the right products available, but if we think the best solution is a product we don't handle, we'll still recommend it; we want to sell only the right products for the job.
